The Kennedy Spelling Bee was held in room 210 on January 18th, 2008. Ninety Kennedy students competed in 59 rounds. Three finalists were selected to represent Kennedy in the Ellis County Spelling Bee at FHSU.

The County Spelling Bee was held on February 5th at the Memorial Union at Fort Hays State University. Samantha Wilson placed first in the Ellis County Spelling Bee. She went on to the Kansas State Spelling Bee on March 8th and placed 6th. We are very proud of the performance of all of our students and congratulare all of them.
